In many parts of the world and in the United States, the Deaf are a forgotten group. Without the ability to communicate easily they are often isolated from society, and from the church; unable to hear the Word of God, or grow in their faith.
At New Hope Church, we believe it is everyone’s right to be included in the life of the church, to hear the gospel message and to be involved in bringing expansion to the Kingdom of God in their own language – just as the gathered crowd did on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-13).
We are excited to have a thriving Deaf Ministry that not only interprets the messages on Sundays, but also provides ministry on an on-going basis for the Deaf Community in the Quad Cities and surrounding areas. In addition to our Sunday and monthly ministry. The Deaf Ministry also offers ASL classes on a regular basis.
